Virginia High School Soccer - Smithfield knocks off York
May 10, 2024: Smithfield, VA 23430 Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting York Falcons (Yorktown, VA), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Packers confront the Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA) in a Bay Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, May 14. Smithfield will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Clippers enter the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 8-0 league loss to Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA).
The Falcons now possess a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jamestown for a Bay Rivers challenge on Thursday, May 16.
