Iowa High School Soccer - Turkey Valley knocks off Clayton-Ridge
May 10, 2024: Jackson Junction, IA 52171 Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans face the Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 13. Turkey Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 11-12 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Beckman (Dyersville, IA).
With the loss, Clayton-Ridge drops to 3-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA) to meet the Chickasaws in a non-league test on Friday, May 10. The Chickasaws come into the test with a record of 2-15. New Hampton lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
