Virginia High School Softball - Buffalo Gap bounces Fort Defiance
May 10, 2024: Swoope, VA 24479 The Buffalo Gap Bison routed the visiting Fort Defiance Indians softball squad by a final score of 7-1 in Friday's league battle.
The Bison (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators go into the Shenandoah battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Riverheads nudged Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 6-2, in a league battle.
The Indians now possess a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Staunton for a Shenandoah battle on Monday, May 13. Fort Defiance will meet a Storm squad coming off a 16-3 league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Storm record now stands at 2-16.
