Virginia High School Softball - King & Queen Central loses to King William
May 10, 2024: King & Queen Court House, VA 23085 The King William Cavaliers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host King & Queen Central Royal Tigers to 1 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, King William improves its record to 15-1 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to New Kent (New Kent, VA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 14. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 16-2. New Kent won 7-0 in their recent league game against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA)
In their next game, the Royal Tigers clash with the Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) in a Tidewater game, on Monday, May 13. King & Queen Central will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 5-12 record after their 6-0 league loss to Middlesex (Saluda, VA).
