Texas High School Softball - Liberty Hill nudges Smithson Valley
May 10, 2024: Spring Branch, TX 78070 Liberty Hill Panthers (Liberty Hill, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 26-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 18. Liberty Hill will face a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 27-9.
With the loss, Smithson Valley falls to 31-9 on the campaign.
