May 10, 2024: New Ipswich, NH 03071 The Mascenic Regional Vikings (New Ipswich, NH) softball routed the visiting Sunapee Lakers (Sunapee, NH), 26-4 in Friday's league bout.
The Vikings (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Conant (Jaffrey, NH). The Orioles go into the non-league bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Conant toppled Stevens (Claremont, NH), 22-0, in a league bout.
The Lakers now possess a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Wilton-Lyndeborough for a Division IV bout on Monday, May 13. Sunapee will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, NH). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
