The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Byron Center Bulldogs (Byron Center, MI) and the host Saline Hornets (Saline, MI), saw Byron Center's baseball team gain a win over Saline by a tally of 7-1.

The Bulldogs (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Caledonia (Caledonia, MI). The Fighting Scots enter the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Caledonia was overwhelmed by Gull Lake (Richland, MI), 12-1, in a non-league battle.
