Roncalli Royals (Indianapolis, IN) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), 5-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Roncalli upgrades its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN) to face the Braves in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Braves enter the battle with a record of 11-6. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory won 9-6 in their recent non-league battle against Southport (Indianapolis, IN)

Next, the Hawks face the Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN) in a Mid-State battle, on Tuesday, May 13. Decatur Central will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Artesians enter the battle with a 0-14 record after their 18-7 non-league loss to Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN).
