The Roncalli Royals baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Perry Meridian Falcons to 0 in the Royals non-league win on Friday.

The Royals now own a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decatur Central for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. Roncalli will play a Hawks team coming off a 9-4 league win over Whiteland (Whiteland, IN). The Hawks record now stands at 10-7.

With the defeat, Perry Meridian drops to 6-11 on the year. The Falcons travel to Whiteland (Whiteland, IN) to play the Warriors in a Mid-State test on Tuesday, May 13. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 9-8. Whiteland won 11-7 in their recent non-league test against Center Grove (Greenwood, IN)
