Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Kent School Lions (Kent, CT), 10-5 in a league test.

With the win, Taft School upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Big Red host Westminster School (Simsbury, CT) to battle the Martlets in a test on Saturday, May 14. The Martlets come into the test with a record of 11-4. Westminster School won 14-4 in their recent league test against Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT)

With the defeat, Kent School falls to 0-14 on the season. The Lions host Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT) to clash with the Beavers in a Founders game on Friday, May 13.
