Massachusetts High School Softball - Lunenburg bounces Clinton
May 11, 2022: Clinton, MA 01510 The Lunenburg Blue Knights the host Clinton Gaels softball squad by a final score of 7-3 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Blue Knights (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA). The Spartans go into the Midland-Wachusett C battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Oakmont Regional nudged Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA), 19-0, in a non-league battle.
The Gaels now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Tyngsborough for a Midland-Wachusett D battle on Friday, May 13. Clinton will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Littleton (Littleton, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.
