In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Madison-Grant Argylls (Fairmount, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), by a margin of 18-2.

With the triumph, Madison-Grant moves its record to 16-3 on the year. The Argylls travel to Frankton (Frankton, IN) to play the Eagles in a Central Indiana contest on Thursday, May 12. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 10-5.

In their next game, the Golden Bears play the Liberty Christian Lions (Anderson, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 12. Monroe Central will attempt to move on its 4-15 season record.
