The Wildcats now sport a 23-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carterville for a non-league match on Friday, May 13. Marion will face a Lions squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Goreville (Goreville, IL). The Lions record now stands at 27-2.
With the loss, Waltonville falls to 16-16 on the campaign. The Spartans host Nashville (Nashville, IL) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Thursday, May 12.
