New York High School Softball - Saranac Lake bounces Moriah
May 11, 2022: Port Henry, NY 12974 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY) and the host Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY), witnessed Saranac Lake's softball squad tip Moriah by a count of 16-10.
The Red Storm now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they host AuSable Valley for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I match on Monday, May 16. Saranac Lake will face a Patriots squad coming off a 15-12 league loss to Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Moriah moves to 0-10 on the season. The Vikings host Saranac (Saranac, NY) to face the Chiefs in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I match on Thursday, May 12. The Chiefs go into the match with a record of 8-6. Saranac lost 13-12 in their recent league match against Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY)
