New York High School Softball - Northeastern Clinton bounces Moriah
April 26, 2022: Port Henry, NY 12974 Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY), 24-15 in a league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northern Adirondack for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Thursday, April 28. Northeastern Clinton will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Moriah falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY) to battle the Eagles in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Beekmantown lost 10-5 in their recent league challenge against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY)
