New York High School Softball - School of the Arts gets by Monroe
May 11, 2023: Rochester, NY 14607 The School of the Arts Silverhawks (Rochester, NY) softball nipped the host Monroe Red Jackets (Rochester, NY), 1-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Silverhawks (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against Early College (Yonkers, NY). The Sharks go into the non-league bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Early College held off Franklin (Rochester, NY), 16-11, in a non-league bout.
The Red Jackets now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Young Women's College Prep for a non-league bout on Monday, May 15. Monroe will confront a Griffins squad coming off a 21-0 non-league loss to East (Rochester, NY). The Griffins record now stands at 0-10.
