Indiana High School Softball - Silver Creek bounces Salem
May 11, 2023: Salem, IN 47167 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) and the host Salem Lions (Salem, IN), witnessed Silver Creek's softball squad tip Salem by a count of 9-4.
The Dragons now sport a 21-8 record. They play next when they travel to Fern Creek for a non-league match on Friday, May 12. Silver Creek will face a Tigers squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Fairdale (Fairdale, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 13-13.
With the loss, Salem moves to 9-13 on the season. The Lions host Orleans (Orleans, IN) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, May 12. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 10-8. Orleans won 13-3 in their recent non-league match against Paoli (Paoli, IN)
