Connecticut High School Baseball - Avon Old Farms defeats Kent School
May 11, 2024: Avon, CT 06001 Spectators at Saturday's league battle between the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) and the visiting Kent School Lions (Kent, CT), saw Avon Old Farms's baseball squad knock off Kent School by a count of 6-1.
Coming up next, the Beavers play the Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT) in a Founders battle, on Wednesday, May 15. Avon Old Farms will attempt to move on its 16-4 season record. The Martlets enter the battle with a 15-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Taft School (Watertown, CT).
The Lions now possess a 2-14 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity-Pawling School for a Founders battle on Monday, May 13. Kent School will play a Pride squad coming off a 11-3 league loss to Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT). The Pride record now stands at 3-12.
