May 11, 2024: Vermontville, MI 49096 The Maple Valley Lions crushed the visiting Eastern Quakers baseball team by a tally of 15-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lions now hold a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 14. Maple Valley will face a Bearcats team coming off a 21-0 league loss to Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-18.
Next, the Quakers face the Williamston Hornets (Williamston, MI) in a Capital Area - Red bout, on Tuesday, May 14. Eastern will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 17-3 record after their 7-5 non-league win over DeWitt (DeWitt, MI).
