May 11, 2024: Kerkhoven, MN 56252 Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints (Kerkhoven, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting B O L D Warriors (Olivia, MN), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Fighting Saints now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeview for a Camden challenge on Monday, May 13. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg will face a Lakers squad coming off a 10-0 league win over MACCRAY (Clara City, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, B O L D falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host West Central Area (Barrett, MN) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 12-3.
