May 13, 2024: Cottonwood, MN 56229 The Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN) softball routed the visiting Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints (Kerkhoven, MN), 14-4 in Monday's league bout.
The Lakers (7-8) will now prepare for their bout against Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Eagles go into the Camden bout with a 12-3 record. In their last bout, Lac qui Parle Valley notched a victory over Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN), 5-1, in a non-league bout.
The Fighting Saints now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Minneota for a Camden bout on Monday, May 13. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 9-6 league win over Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 12-2.
