New York High School Softball - Phoenix topped by Cortland
May 11, 2024: Cortland, NY 13045 The Cortland Purple Tigers softball team scored 21 runs and limited the visiting Phoenix Firebirds to 12 in the Purple Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Cortland moves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Purple Tigers travel to Chittenango (Chittenango, NY) to play the Bears in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 14. The Bears come into the game with a record of 10-3. Chittenango lost 12-4 in their recent non-league game against Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY)
