Minnesota High School Softball - Medford bounces Triton
May 11, 2024: Dodge Center, MN 55927 Medford Tigers (Medford, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN), 8-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. Medford will face a Panthers squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Triton falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Cobras host Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. Kenyon-Wanamingo lost 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Randolph (Randolph, MN)
