Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL), 10-0 in a league test.

With the win, Maine South upgrades its record to 21-8 on the season. The Hawks host Highland Park (Highland Park, IL) to battle the Giants in a non-league test on Saturday, May 14. The Giants come into the test with a record of 14-9. Highland Park won 11-8 in their recent league test against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL)

With the defeat, Evanston falls to 16-5 on the season. The Wildkits travel to Niles West (Skokie, IL) to battle the Wolves in a Central Suburban - South test on Friday, May 13.
