Virginia High School Soccer - Hopewell overwhelmed by Meadowbrook
May 12, 2022: Richmond, VA 23234 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA), saw Meadowbrook's soccer squad triumph over Hopewell by a count of 6-1.
The Monarchs now hold a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Prince George for a Central test on Monday, May 16. Meadowbrook will meet a Royals squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Royals record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Hopewell drops to 3-11 on the season. The Blue devils host Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA) to meet the Warriors in a Central test on Monday, May 16. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 4-8. Matoaca lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA)
