The Hoover Buccaneers the host Austin Black Bears softball squad by a final score of 6-4 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Buccaneers (36-16) will now prepare for their battle against Thompson (Alabaster, AL). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 37-8 record. In their last battle, Thompson nudged Hoover (Hoover, AL), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
