New York High School Softball - Griffith Institute loses to Depew
May 12, 2022: Springville, NY 14141 In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Depew Wildcats softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Griffith Institute Griffins.
Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Lancaster Legends (Lancaster, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County I outing, on Monday, May 16. Depew will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Legends enter the outing with a 13-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Nardin Academy (Buffalo, NY).
The Griffins (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Albion (Albion, NY). The Purple Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Albion prevailed over Newfane (Newfane, NY), 15-1, in a league outing.
