The Pershing County Mustangs baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Battle Mountain Longhorns to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs (14-15) will now prepare for their match against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Wolverines go into the non-league match with a 21-6 record. In their last test, West Wendover was overwhelmed by Yerington (Yerington, NV), 7-2, in a non-league test.

With the defeat, Battle Mountain falls to 11-12 on the season.
