May 12, 2023: Mequon, WI 53092 West Bend West Spartans (West Bend, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI), 4-2 in a league test.
With the win, West Bend West upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Spartans host Port Washington (Port Washington, WI) to battle the Pirates in a North Shore test on Monday, May 15. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 4-17. Port Washington lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Cedarburg (Cedarburg, WI)
With the defeat, Homestead falls to 9-8 on the season. The Highlanders host Westosha Central (Salem, WI) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Saturday, May 13. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 8-9. Westosha Central won 2-1 in their recent league test against Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI)
