Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers (Sandusky, OH), 12-5 in a league test.

With the win, Hopewell-Loudon upgrades its record to 9-13 on the season. The Chieftains host Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH) to battle the Golden Bears in a Sandusky Bay - River test on Saturday, May 13.
