The Poteet Pirates baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Lone Star Rangers to 2 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.

The Pirates (15-4) will now prepare for their match against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines go into the non-league match with a 18-12 record. In their last match, Wakeland tipped Hillcrest (Dallas, TX), 2-1, in a non-league match.
