In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Arlington Spy Ponders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Somerville Highlanders.

The Spy Ponders (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lexington (Lexington, MA). The Minutemen come into the Middlesex battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Lexington achieved victory over Winchester (Winchester, MA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Highlanders clash with the Lynn Classical Rams (Lynn, MA) in a battle, on Monday, May 15. Somerville will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Rams come into the battle with a 6-11 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA).
