In Friday's league contest, the Iroquois Chiefs (Elma, NY) softball team overwhelmed the host Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY), by a margin of 12-0.

With the triumph, Iroquois moves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Chiefs host Dunkirk (Dunkirk, NY) to play the Marauders in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 17. The Marauders come into the contest with a record of 4-8.

In their next game, the Tigers play the West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County II contest, on Monday, May 15. Amherst Central will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record.
