Virginia High School Softball - Lafayette gets by Jamestown
May 12, 2023: Williamsburg, VA 23185 Spectators at Friday's league match between the Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) and the host Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA), witnessed Lafayette's softball squad tip Jamestown by a count of 1-0.
The Rams now sport a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to Tabb for a Bay Rivers match on Tuesday, May 16. Lafayette will face a Tigers squad coming off a 19-0 league win over Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-11.
With the loss, Jamestown moves to 1-18 on the season. The Eagles host Tabb (Yorktown, VA) to face the Tigers in a Bay Rivers match on Monday, May 15. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 5-11. Tabb won 19-1 in their recent league match against Bruton (Williamsburg, VA)
