Maine High School Softball - Maine Central Institute bounces Winslow
May 12, 2023: Winslow, ME 04901 The Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) softball routed the host Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), 24-9 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Huskies (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Erskine Academy was routed by Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME), 4-3, in a league bout.
The Black Raiders now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Nokomis for a Class B North bout on Monday, May 15.
