Ohio High School Softball - North bounces South
May 12, 2023: Eastlake, OH 44095 North Rangers (Eastlake, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South Rebels (Willoughby, OH), 9-3 in a league challenge.
The Rangers now sport a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mentor for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. North will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Solon (Solon, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-10.
With the loss, South falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Rebels host North (Eastlake, OH) to face the Rangers in a Western Reserve challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 13-8. North lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Mentor (Mentor, OH)
