The Montgomery Cougars baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Rutgers Prep Argonauts to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Monday.

The Cougars now own a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Voorhees for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Montgomery will play a Vikings team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 10-8.

With the defeat, Rutgers Prep drops to 10-8 on the year. The Argonauts host Somerville (Somerville, NJ) to play the Pioneers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 9-8.
