May 12, 2025: South Lyon, MI 48178 South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Catherine of Siena Academy Athletes (Wixom, MI), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, South Lyon advances its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Lions host Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 6-3. Walled Lake Central won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Ferndale (Ferndale, MI)
The Athletes now have a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Academy of the Sacred Heart for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. St. Catherine of Siena Academy will clash with a Gazelles team coming off a 2-1 league win over Austin Catholic (Chesterfield, MI). The Gazelles record now stands at 5-7.
