May 12, 2025: West Islip, NY 11795 West Islip Lions (West Islip, NY) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Smithtown West (Smithtown, NY), 12-9 in a league test.
The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Eastport-South Manor (Manorville, NY). The Sharks enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record.
Next, the battle the Harborfields Tornadoes (Greenlawn, NY) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 14. Smithtown West will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
