May 12, 2025: Arlington, SD 57212 The Arlington/Lake Preston softball team scored 7 runs and restricted the visiting Elkton/Lake Benton Elks to 4 in the non-league victory on Monday.
The (6-8) will now prepare for their match against Chester (Chester, SD). The Flyers go into the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Chester was routed by Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD), 15-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Elks battle the Deuel Cardinals (Clear Lake, SD) in a Class B match, on Tuesday, May 13. Elkton/Lake Benton will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Cardinals go into the match with a 13-2 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Milbank (Milbank, SD).
