The Brimfield Indians softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Mercer County Golden Eagles to 0 in the Indians non-league win on Monday.

The Indians now have a 27-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Macomb for a Prairieland bout on Tuesday, May 13. Brimfield will battle a Bombers team coming off a 1-0 league win over Illini West (Carthage, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 9-18.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Mercer County will attempt to advance on its 20-7 season record.
