May 12, 2025: Pine Plains, NY 12567 The Pine Plains Bombers softball squad (Pine Plains, NY), was edged 5-4 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY)
With the triumph, Columbia improves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Blue Devils host Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY) to face the Flying Dutchmen in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest on Tuesday, May 13. The Flying Dutchmen enter the contest with a record of 6-7. Guilderland lost 7-6 in their recent league contest against Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY)
The Bombers now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Our Lady of Lourdes for a Mid Hudson Athletic contest on Thursday, May 15. Pine Plains will face a Warriors squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Saugerties (Saugerties, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 2-10.
