The Covington Trojans softball squad (Covington, IN), was routed 16-6 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting West Vigo Vikings (West Terre Haute, IN)

With the triumph, West Vigo improves its record to 18-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to South Putnam (Greencastle, IN) to face the Eagles in a Western Indiana contest on Wednesday, May 14. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 13-4. South Putnam won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Northview (Brazil, IN)

The Trojans now hold a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Benton Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 13. Covington will face a Bison squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN). The Bison record now stands at 5-14.
