In Thursday's league match, the visiting Covington Trojans softball team scored a nice 14-2 win over the South Vermillion Wildcats.

The Trojans (10-15) will now prepare for their match against North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN). The Falcons come into the non-league match with a 6-13 record. In their last match, North Vermillion was routed by Covington (Covington, IN), 13-7, in a league match.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Greencastle Tiger Cubs (Greencastle, IN) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 26. South Vermillion will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record.
