In Tuesday's league test, the South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Attica Red Ramblers (Attica, IN), by a tally of 15-9.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) in a Wabash River test, on Friday, May 16. South Vermillion will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 7-14 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Benton Central (Oxford, IN).

The Red Ramblers (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN). The Panthers go into the Wabash River test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Riverton Parke was routed by North Putnam (Roachdale, IN), 5-1, in a non-league test.
