May 12, 2025: Minnetonka, MN 55305 Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN), 16-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Eden Prairie upgrades its record to 10-8 on the year. The Eagles host Edina (Edina, MN) to play the Hornets in a Lake game on Wednesday, May 14. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 11-7. Edina won 12-2 in their recent league game against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN)
The Royals now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league game on Tuesday, May 13. Hopkins will play a Eagles squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Highland Park (St. Paul, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.
