Delaware High School Softball - Sussex Central sneaks past St. Mark's
May 12, 2025: Wilmington, DE 19808 The Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) softball nipped the host St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE), 7-6 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Golden Knights now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delaware Military Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, May 16. Sussex Central will meet a Seahawks squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE). The Seahawks record now stands at 9-4.
The Spartans (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record.
