April 14, 2025: Laurel, DE 19956 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE) and the host Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE), observed St. Mark's's softball team prevail over Laurel by a tally of 18-6.
The Spartans (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE). The Auks go into the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Archmere Academy knocked off First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE), 17-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Laurel will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 7-3 league win over Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE).
