The Mapleton Mounties baseball squad (Ashland, OH), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Monroeville Eagles (Monroeville, OH)

With the triumph, Monroeville moves its record to 13-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to St. Paul (Norwalk, OH) to confront the Flyers in a Firelands contest on Thursday, May 14. The Flyers come into the contest with a record of 16-3. St. Paul lost 5-2 in their recent league contest against New London (New London, OH)

The Mounties now possess a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crestview for a Firelands contest on Friday, May 15. Mapleton will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 9-5 league loss to Western Reserve (Collins, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 8-9.
