In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) baseball squad edged the host Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), by a final score of 5-4.

With the win, Sherman upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Tide host Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 14. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Lincoln County lost 12-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Capital (Charleston, WV)
